Schools Work

Our youth worker, Gary, spends a lot of time every week within the local primary school and also the local secondary school.

Within the Primary school Gary leads weekly collective worship on a variety of themes and we are invited in regularly to help lead RE lessons.

At the end of each term the children come to the church and have an end of term service and the church is full each time. We have been known to raise the roof with joyous and loud singing!

We hold regular extra events in the church for the children including a yearly prayer space event.

In the local secondary school Gary helps lead a Christian Union on a Tuesday lunch time, the number of attendees has grown week on week.
