Good Morning Friday is a weekly group that meets on Zoom at 9.00am on a Friday for a 40-minute session where we catch up with each other and have a devotional - often using verses from the Bible but using other innovative ideas at times.  Such ideas have included:

• Choose a hymn/song and explain why they have chosen it. 

• Seek the story behind a hymn/song and its author.

• Choose a favourite Bible verse and explain why.

• Look at a newspaper of the day and pray for specific topics.   

• Occasionally we have used ‘Pray as you go’ [produced by Jesuit Media Initiatives]

 

We also share our prayer needs and those of others within the Parish (with their permission and ensuring confidentiality within the group), and pray together, if we want to, or sometimes use an "umbrella prayer".

 

You are warmly invited to join us - just to look and listen, if you wish, as there is no pressure to join in - just join us!

This is a new small home group that meets face-to-face every couple of weeks on Wednesday at 7pm.  At present it is following ‘The Bible Course’ with informative and engaging videos followed by interesting discussion.  The evening starts with light refreshments and lasts about an hour and a half.  Anyone is welcome.  Contact Keith and Maz Hine.
